Rooted is a concept for an outdoor clothing company that focuses on creating sustainable and environmentally friendly clothing. This brand encourages their customers to get outdoors and experience nature. ‘Rooted’ means to be not only IN the environment but FOR the environment. 

The Rooted brand colors is a neutral dark palette that expresses cool earthy tones. The logo design is inspired by nature itself. The R being rooted underneath the O is imitating roots that are under the earth and keep a tree grounded. Just as trees are grounded, so humans need the same experience to be grounded to the earth we live.

As a way of supporting and partnering with the earth under our feet, Rooted is completely sustainable, including the packaging. Each price tag on the clothing is created from seeds in compost paper in order to reduce waste. Once the customer is finished with the tag, simply plant it in the ground and give back to the earth.
